In keeping with our goal to bring education to those who have little or no access to it we were happy to introduce another first of a kind to Sri Lanka. Partnering with Streetwise Mobile School’ we initiated a programme where we visit rural – hard to reach, communities with a mobile ‘classroom’ that provides kids with a novel, interactive way of learning. An environment that is very different from conventional school this method reaches them at their home communities and helps them to learn in a fun and memorable manner. Our first programme was held in February and we hope to reach far and wide across Sri Lanka in the months ahead to reach the unreached communities around the island.
