Child Development Coordinator – Mullaitivu

Responsibilities

  • Observe each child, help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem while encouraging the children to interact with each other
  • Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum mainly focused on activity-based learning
  • Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring potential problems to the attention of parents or guardians and the respective Child Development Centre Head

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Sociology, Community Development, International Development Studies, Psychology, Counselling, Education or any relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an NGO, Child Development, Teaching, or Community development is an added advantage
  • Excellent command of English and computer literacy

Early Childhood Development Coordinator – Nuwara Eliya

Responsibilities

  • Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children to focus on their skill development
  • Organize activities for children to learn about the world, explore interests, and develop skills
  • Develop schedules, timetables, and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity and rest

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Sociology, Community Development, International Development Studies, Psychology, Counselling, Education or any relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an NGO, Child Development, Teaching, or Community development is an added advantage
  • Excellent command of English and computer literacy

Child Development Center Manager – Galle

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team effectively, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure program success
  • Implement programs addressing the needs of underprivileged children and families, focusing on Child Protection, Health & Nutrition, Education, and Sustainability
  • Oversee the Child Development center, handling planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, communities, and schools
  • Ensure timely reporting on projects and programs
  • Provide technical support and guidance on monitoring and evaluation to operational partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Community Development, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an NGO, Child Development, Community development, or project management
  • Excellent command of English and proven experience in team management
