Child Development Coordinator – Mullaitivu
Responsibilities
- Observe each child, help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem while encouraging the children to interact with each other
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum mainly focused on activity-based learning
- Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring potential problems to the attention of parents or guardians and the respective Child Development Centre Head
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Sociology, Community Development, International Development Studies, Psychology, Counselling, Education or any relevant field.
- 2-3 years of experience in an NGO, Child Development, Teaching, or Community development is an added advantage
- Excellent command of English and computer literacy
Early Childhood Development Coordinator – Nuwara Eliya
Responsibilities
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children to focus on their skill development
- Organize activities for children to learn about the world, explore interests, and develop skills
- Develop schedules, timetables, and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity and rest
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Sociology, Community Development, International Development Studies, Psychology, Counselling, Education or any relevant field.
- 2-3 years of experience in an NGO, Child Development, Teaching, or Community development is an added advantage
- Excellent command of English and computer literacy
Child Development Center Manager – Galle
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team effectively, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure program success
- Implement programs addressing the needs of underprivileged children and families, focusing on Child Protection, Health & Nutrition, Education, and Sustainability
- Oversee the Child Development center, handling planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government bodies, communities, and schools
- Ensure timely reporting on projects and programs
- Provide technical support and guidance on monitoring and evaluation to operational partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Community Development, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an NGO, Child Development, Community development, or project management
- Excellent command of English and proven experience in team management
